“Meg was exactly the cat we were looking for!”

"After losing our last cat at age 19, we knew we wanted to adopt one from a rescue centre. However, we didn’t want a kitten. We wanted to offer a home to the cat that had been in the rescue centre the longest, the one that had been overlooked, the one that had been left behind & who had watched many others go to their new ‘furever’ families. Then we met Clare who told us about Megan. Clare knew exactly the kind of home she wanted for Meg, and she thought we fitted the bill! Meg was exactly the cat we were looking for. Her third anniversary of being in the rescue centre was coming up.  We decided we would go & meet her, to see if she might like us. She didn’t exactly like us, but she hissed less at us, in comparison to other people who had come to see her!! We decided we would try her in our home, to see if she would settle in and she did!!! On day 2 she began to play & to purr. Now she’s been with us over 2 months, and she plays fetch with her ball every day & sleeps with us every night. Meg has absolutely found her home with us and we’re so glad we have her with us! Clare was sure that Meg would settle happily into the right home & she wasn’t wrong.
